Thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery, we’ve been able to support more older people experiencing loneliness and isolation across the UK.
People who call The Silver Line Helpline have been able to pick up the phone and enjoy a chat, access vital support, and feel all the wonderful benefits that come from talking to a friend.

The Silver Line was founded in 2016 by Dame Esther Rantzen. As a charity, we rely on donations and the generosity of supporters like players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
People’s Postcode Lottery is a lottery operator in which people play with their postcodes to win cash prizes whilst raising money for charities and good causes across Great Britain and globally.
A minimum of 32% of each ticket sold is awarded to charities and players have raised an incredible £850 million for good causes, including The Silver Line Helpline.
